There’s a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in.

Hi, I'm Eddie. If you have found your way here, something has probably brought you to this point. Maybe you can name it clearly, maybe it's just a quiet sense that something isn't quite right, or a feeling you have been carrying for a while without quite knowing how to put it into words. Whatever it is, I'm glad you are here.

I'm a London based integrative counsellor, currently working across the NHS, corporate wellbeing, and community mental health. That breadth of experience has taught me one thing above all else: no two people are the same, and no two experiences, even similar ones, are felt in quite the same way.

As a queer person myself, I understand what it means to navigate a world that doesn't always make space for who you are. I know the particular exhaustion of having to explain yourself, justify your identity, or wonder whether you will ever be truly understood. And I bring that lived understanding into the room with me.

My work with neurodivergent children has also shaped the way I work. It has given me a deep appreciation for patience, for meeting people exactly where they are, and for the kind of careful, unhurried attention that allows someone to feel genuinely safe rather than just tolerated.

In our sessions, you won't need to justify how you feel, perform being ok, or have it all figured out before we begin. This is a space built on curiosity, empathy, and genuine respect for who you are, where you can find a voice that perhaps hasn't had room to be heard.

Specialisms

I work with an integrative counselling approach. I specialise in working with relationship difficulties, low confidence and self esteem, identify and life transitions, and the particular challenges faced by LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent individuals.

As a queer therapist, I bring particular sensitivity and insight into issues such as identity, coming out, same-sex relationships, dynamics in open relationships, anxiety around rejection, and experiences of exclusion or misunderstanding.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get started?

The first step is a free 15 minute telephone consultation. This gives us a chance to talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and whether working together feels like the right fit. You can get in touch via the contact form to arrange a suitable time for you.

How much do sessions cost?

Individual therapy sessions are £60 for 50 minutes, or £330 for a block of 6 sessions. Couple therapy is £80 for 60 minutes, or £450 for a block of 6 sessions. Payment is made by card prior to each session.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions are available online via Teams or in person in London.

How long will I need therapy for?

This varies from person to person, couple to couple. Some clients find 6 to 8 sessions helpful for a specific issue, while others prefer longer term work that could last for years. Most clients find the key is regularity and consistency rather than the length of therapy.

We will review how things are going regularly and you are always free to pause or end therapy when you feel ready.

Is everything I say confidential?

Yes. Everything discussed in our sessions is strictly confidential. The only exceptions are if I have serious concerns about your safety or the safety of others, in which case I may need to share information with relevant services. I would always aim to discuss this with you first wherever possible.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations or missed sessions will be charged at the full session fee and will not be refunded.
